Intimate Worlds

The works in the exhibition are deeply personal, intimate, and beyond the reach of censorship. They were painted spontaneously, in moments of intense personal experience. The artistic expression in the works is direct, unpretentious, without embellishment, driven solely by the sometimes painful need for intimate communication with the Subconscious and its reflection in the real world. Through their exquisite synthesis and minimalism, Mihaela Zoeva’s paintings resemble a short story, masterfully crafted through the language of drawing, which undoubtedly speaks to us all instinctively, without the need for translation or explanation.
